Yes. Another golden oldie was, " It'll feel good when it quits hurting." 😅 Had to wait a week with a broken arm, just to be sure it wasn't just a sprain back then. Dad did feel bad about that one. We didn't just run to the Dr. back then.

I had a goose egg the size of Montana on my shin from the pedal of my bike when my foot slipped off and the pedal spun back and cracked my leg. Probably had a hairline fracture, had a limp for a few weeks. Try hiding that one from your parents 🤷‍♂️😂

Oooo...I know that had to hurt! What's glaringly different about Gen X is that you tried to hide it from your Parents to avoid the Dr. Recent generations seem to be in a competition of "How weak can you be". It's like there is something wrong with you if there's nothing wrong with you.
