WOW Buried in the 1500 page spending bill is a 40% PAY INCREASE FOR CONGRESS

Members of Congress salary will be increased from $174,000 to $243,000 per year

FOR WHAT?? Selling us out??

We knew this was coming, Here’s US Congress Members saying they need a raise and cost of living adjustments

They’re so broke “Upwards of 100 Congress members actually sleep in their office”

Reminder many members of Congress are worth HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS from insider trading

The 2025 cost of living increase for social security is 2.5%. That's all THEY should get! Most businesses I've worked for in the past only give 3%. OMG! I'm so sick of these people!

My story:
Got the 2.5% increase
Cost for Part B Medicare deduction from SS went UP
Cost for Part D prescription deduction went UP
Because of inflation my 76 year old husband still works part time. We are required to take our minimum requirement from retirement funds, so they penalize us by adding an IRMAA deduction.
The result: both our Social Security checks are REDUCED from last year! What a scam! ☹️

Great points 👍
I don't have part B or D as I hadn't been to a "regular" (Rockefeller approved) doctor in 15 years, so no meds or jabs either.....until "covid". Something in that poison caused a steady decrease in B12, and consequently blood volume, since then, landing me in the ER a few months ago.
During my 2-day hospital stay, they sent in 2 MDs -- one blood doctor, one cancer doctor. FIVE MINUTE visit and they were gone. Next day they got the results of the lab test (critical lack of B12 & blood), so both returned for another FIVE MINUTE visit. Both kept saying, "You have no blood - you must be bleeding - where are you bleeding?" I kept telling them I'm not, but they didn't listen and ordered unnecessary tests, which showed no bleeding 🤪.
I googled B12 and blood volume -- without B12 the body CANNOT make blood. The internet knew -- why didn't they?
My bill from those 2 doctors -- $4,000.
INSANITY! 😱

Trying our best to stay out of the medical complex as much as possible! My sister suddenly had low blood counts, had a colonoscopy to look for bleeding, they perforated her colon!! She had a 6 hour emergency surgery, in hospital for 8 days, has a temporary ileostomy that will be reversed in January. So another surgery, another hospital stay. He first bill was over $175,000! Thankfully like me ( I am retired RN) she is a nurse and has good insurance and they will pay all of it because she is employed with the medical system where she had her "care." The cost of care is astronomical! 🙄

I too had my colon perforated during a colonoscopy. Had to have a bag for six weeks and had to pay for their mistake out of my own pocket. I will never do that again, or have a Pap smear or a mammogram. Heck I don’t even like the dentist. That is a racket as well.

The best dentist is an apple before bed after brushing your teeth. My grandfather, who didn't have a single filling, told me this - his father, my great-grandfather, taught him. I do it too and it works.

So sorry that happened to you. I am with you, I am certainly not ever having a colonoscopy. Doctors that make these kinds of errors shoukd have to pay something for pain and suffering.
