The Holy Spirit of Truth tells us that salvation is a Gift from God, and can't be earned, just received.
God 'made a Way' to be reunited w/ Him - not by works of the sinful flesh, but born anew by the Spirit and Jesus fulfilling the requirements for us, making a 'new man' ~ w/ a new spirit and heart.
