Yes, alkalinity is key to overall health. The American diet of sugar, sugar, sugar is, IMO, the cause of not only cancer, but many other dis-eases. The body has dis-ease because something is causing the ease of the functioning of the body to be disrupted. An acidic body is that disruption. If the entire US population would stop drinking sugar laden coffee drinks, all soda and bottled water, this would significantly improve overall health. Cancer and diabetes rates would drop significantly.
