I donβt want to be made dictator! I donβt believe in dictators!
I believe we want to bring about change
by the agreement of the citizens.
If we canβt persuade the public that itβs desirable to do these things
WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO IMPOSE THEM
EVEN IF WE HAD THE POWER TO DO IT π₯
4 FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTIONS OF GOVERNMENT
β
Preserve the Peace
β
Provide a mechanism whereby individuals
can adjudicate their disputes
β
Protect individuals from being coerced by others
β
Police β is both central & state & local

US LEGAL resident alien, WWG1WGA, Out of Darkness into Light. Tallyho!!
So who will take care of Veterans Services? The States?
Vets served their country, all of it, not just the state they reside in.
I doubt any blue state, would be kindly disposed towards Vets... after all, they are a dying breed... every year, fewer and fewer... but, while there is even one in need, there should be a resource set aside for them.
Kinda wish they had said what they would replace it with.
Did you listen to the video? π»

Pay a lump sum? So making Vets use private medicine? How do they know how much that is going to cost over the length of time the Vet has to deal with the injury? To maintain lost limb tech, psychological issues, effects of poisons that may not be apparent immediately, but rot organs over time... this seems rather callous.
But he's all for keeping the Treasury... gotta keep the dimi paying jizya....
Patriot. Veteran. π Queenie. Just call me Smoo. π€ Animal Rights = Human Rights. Proud PITBULL momma! #Godwins.
I am a veteran and DoD civilian of ~ 20 yrs. I think the DoD should manage veteranβs healthcare. With true automation (not the cluster of non-interoperable systems/databases currently) you donβt need the VA, but an office within DoD.
