That's the problem w/ cherry picking scripture. Why drag the Bible into it at all I always wonder?

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

So the real physical Jesus IS coming back [as *savior*] to gather his own to himself
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout .. and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" 1Ths4:16-17
