He has an odd presentation, as if he is looking from the corner of his eye, rather than face on to the camera. There is another chap who does this too, cannot remember his name.
I only noticed this as I did not have my sound up.
I recognize this, because I am also a video filmmaker. Often it is the camera itself ... The lens can be a bit more to the left or right and you look with your eye at the whole camera. Then it can seem like you are looking next to the camera.

Do you adjust the persons position to compensate?
I have only seen it in 2 instances, here and the other chap (dark hair beard, cannot for the life of me remember his name).
Everyone else seems to be looking straight into the camera.

When I interview someone with the shoulder camera, it is not really correctable. I could ask the person to look straight into the lens in the future... People often look more at me than into the lens. Good idea!
