That's reportedly how many Books of the Bible are missing from our current versions out of the total of 777 Books that constitute our real Bible, which were locked away in the Archives of the Vatican, and were unedited BTW still written in Aramaic and hopefully being translated for all of us to spend years reading.
Doesn't this notion, quite popular in some circles, suggest that the RCC (the power on this earth clearly identified in the sister prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation as the little horn/antichrist/beast) is more powerful than God?
Should we really believe that God wouldn't (and couldn't?!) watch over His WORD to protect it, keeping ALL of it's *essential* doctrines, history, and prophesies "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" unto salvation fully intact and available to His children?
That idea just seems silly to me.
Whose interests would that idea actually serve? Couldn't be God's as it makes Him appear weak and not in charge of His own book.
Who would be interested in making the Bible appear insufficient for our edification unto salvation and thus enticing as many as possible to then goosechase all manner of "secret" "hidden" books and "knowledge"?
Didn't the serpent in the garden suggest the same idea?
God is Omnipotent so your point is well taken. God has not been weakened, fooled or restrained by anyone or anything. That is an immutable truth about Him. The Bible we have represents what He has protected for thousands of years. He wrote all of the books except the letters published by Paul and apostles. He spoke to each historical and prophetic writer and they wrote what He told them to write. All of the Word is protected by Him, even if it was altered He allowed it for spiritual reasons.
Moreover, the Word has two senses, the literal sense for people on Earth has many scriptures that are impossible to understand; the internal sense for angels in Heaven in the ancient symbolic language of correspondences. Ol cowboy is right saying all will be revealed because God is revealing the angelic meanings now since this country began under Nunc Licet (now it is revealed).

What is coming is TRUTH, whatever the TRUTH IS, and when the veil is lifted there will be no denying it and I for one am looking forward to spending years reading the complete BIBLE translated directly from Aramaic NOT LATIN because Aramaic was the primary language that Yeshua spoke. There are many meanings lost in anything that would be translated from 4 languages, Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English we need Aramaic to English, and that is the translation I want to be reading, every Book of The Bible not just some.
This of course is a personal choice. I am only stating my personal perspective, and I don't expect others to have that same perspective.

I believe that is what the 1000 years we will spend in heaven (safely housed in the 'Father's house of many mansions' where Yeshua promised to take us at His return Jn14:1-3) will be for as well as having the opportunity to examine all of God's final judgments prior to their final execution - the 2nd death - when we are brought back to earth in the New Jerusalem city for the resurrection and destruction of the wicked.

If you look to History, it's very clear that the majority of the Human population under tyranny's control for centuries were ILLITERATE, and the Vatican and it's appendages purposefully did not educate the masses so they themselves could read The Bible for themselves. So Humanity was dependent on Priests at the Pulpit to give them the interpretations & meaning throughout much of our history. So the Vatican which was simply ROME & which was Pagan under Constantine simply overlaid itself on Christianity, fooling everyone that the Vatican was "Christian" when it is highly Satanic. In my research the Library of Alexandria was not destroyed, it was taken to the Vatican then the empty library was burned, and we are awaiting many Books of the Bible including the Gospels of Jesus because Jesus was NOT illiterate in fact he was highly educated. WHERE ARE HIS GOSPELS AND WRITINGS? I argue they were hidden in the Vatican Archives to keep Humanity from knowing WHO WE ARE. Children Of God.

I agree w/ everything you say and very well put. Even the squirreling away of the Alexandria collection .. 👍 .. which I'd never heard anyone else suggest.
And while there are certainly many MANY books the church has hidden away, even some of special interest to Christians, my point is that God is *still* (and has always been) in control and nothing *essential* for His people to know to get through this life and these end times, to attain and maintain salvation, has He allowed to be withheld?
All HE deemed *absolutely necessary* still right there in all the Bible's based on the received texts.
That would of course necessarily include all the essential teachings of Jesus imo.
I do believe John21:25 supports your premise though and one day when 'the books are opened' (Rev20:12) .. what a day!
But I also believe the devil uses that idea to great effect to entice people off into many dead end 'fanciful' paths of hearsay and supposition ultimately dangerous to their faith.
