Yes, and many don't need to be paid. They are taught exactly how and who to vote for with the fear that if they don't, they will lose all their benefits and health care and welfare cards and be sent back and so forth. Eyes on all those "community centers and various associations." They are all over NYC neighborhoods: Chinese help in the Chinese neighborhoods, Arabic help in the Arab neighborhoods, and so forth. Families that speak English teach the others how to vote and the word "democrat" is pointed out for them on practice ballot forms.
Dare we start on the nursing homes filled with dementia residents? Who fills out their ballots?
