I live there and was there when we got the alert. It was crazy making. The poor guy who had to take the blame, just a guy at civil defense. He did nothing wrong but was blamed and got death threats, had to go into hiding. People were trying to put their kids down man holes! It was sickening.

Kona Palisades is a lovely area, especially mid to upper parts of the street. We looked there, Cook's Landing but settled in Waikoloa, due to traffic.

Waikoloa use to be a sleepy retirement community 33+ years ago, but it now crazy...
8K people with only one way in and out...And they keep building more homes. We are surrounded by dry brush and we worry we will be the next Lahaina.

Only good thing is in the 33 years we lived here, I have never seen so many Trump signs in yards for this Deep Blue state. GO TRUMP!
