Do people know the history of the Jack O’Lantern?
It should give pause… THIS VERY DARK DAY.
On All Hallows Eve & the days preceding it
a Druid practice WAS TO SACRIFICE HUMANS
to appease the Gods & protect themselves.
Bands would go out & expect an offering;
money, food, but they also expected periodically
that the head of the household
would choose a human sacrifice from the household
& often it was a child.
That sacrifice would be prepared for sacrifice
& terrorized to adrenalize.
If someone gave their sacrifice
to these ‘priests’ practicing witchcraft
they would take a pumpkin
& put a candle in it made of human flesh
showing that household had made a sacrifice..
That’s the origin of the Jack O’Lantern,
A VERY VERY VERY DARK HISTORY.
Do you think the demons are laughing
that we play [their] game with them?

It is a satanic and dark "holiday" that needs to be discarded. How about replacing it with Fall Festivals that celebrate the harvest of pumpkins, apples, cranberries, etc celebrate the colors of fall with parties, fun games, dressing up in fun costumes perhaps, but no dark or scary costumes and no trick or treating house to house. Each child gets a treat bag at the party with some candy, pencils, crayons, stickers, an apple, a small toy etc. 🍎🍫🥨🎈🎃🍂🍁
😔 I agree, Carol.
It was hard for me to write this
& I had to seriously edit Juan
even though everything he says is fascinating.
But you get the gist.
HORRIFIC 'holiday' for demons
& it is ongoing until they're eternally exterminated.
EVERYONE must keep their children SAFE
in these next hours.
I want to do away with ALL pagan holidays
because they're all rooted in sacrifice.
But in our Beautiful New World
we can CELEBRATE LIGHT & LOVE & FUN
& ACCOMPLISHMENT & CREATIVITY
and and and....... all good & wondrous things 🤩
It's fine to replace Halloween w something wholesome.
Growing up, Oct 31 was all soul's day.
We dressed up and how great our mothers were, to let us use their jewelry, clothes and makeup.
We went trick or treating to people we knew. They lovingly gave us goodies, some even made cookies from scratch for us.
Our school had a Halloween parade.
The best costumes won prizes.
Nothing was horrible or scary.
I remember the day as one of so much love-maybe good people took the Satanist's horror and turned it into something good and fun? Seemed like that to me.
Nov 1 was all saint's day. We went to church.
For the fall harvest we went on hayrides, sang fall songs, collected leaves, made fall crafts, went pumpkin picking, apple picking, cider tasting, did canning, cooking, made pies.
We took trips to see fall scenery.
Were Satanic movies like Halloween to remind themselves of old jack o lantern days because maybe we were having too much fun?
My way of seeing it but no matter.
