I find it interesting that no one ever mentions Tuckers uniform. And make no mistake. It is a uniform. Easily identifiable by everyone who’s ever worn it and anyone who knows someone who’s worn it or still wears it. Blue blazer with brass buttons, khaki pants, button down shirt and striped or bow tie. Most commonly from Brooks Brothers. Although BB has fallen out of favor recently because of poor quality. Mostly worn by men of a certain age from a certain class. While some of them wear it now because it’s like Garanimals. They’ve worn it so long that they have no fashion sense and it makes buying clothes and getting dressed easier. Others wear it because it sends a signal about who they are. Whatever the reason. They all recognize it and it triggers something inside of them. To some, it’s just preppy. But I can’t help but wonder if there isn’t a deeper meaning. The only ones I know personally are the Garanimal ones.
