Shop the perimeter of stores and avoid as many processed foods (mostly found in the aisles of grocery stores) as possible. Avoid big name producers and products. ALWAYS read labels! Never eat anything that says it contains bio engineered ingredients. Avoid as many foods as possible that contain seed oils. Safe oils seem to be olive oil, avocado oil and possibly coconut oil. 😇

Yes, it is a must to read labels and look up ingredients listed to become familiar with the vocabulary of these additives. It takes me a long time to shop these days, getting good organic produce in one way, good sourced meat and proteins another way etc. Then making most of what we eat from scratch. It can be exhausting. We hardly ever eat out anymore, because you never know what you are consuming. 🙄
