I look at things a slight bit differently.

First of all, I do not bet, nor do I gamble and taking risky chances are not for me.

And I consider myself lucky. Why? Because I love God and he loves me. This is my luck meaning!

For example the other day, I listened to my intuition and God, as the oil light came on in my car. I avoided two car accidents in one day that had two life flights of 5 people. I consider this like Luck of God, because I listened.

And the Irish consider it as Luck of the Irish.

And in Tarot, 6 means Good Luck! Also there are other signs that mean good luck. The swastika means good luck.

In my definition of luck is different than others.

But then again, it is belief in God and trusting myself with my intuition! 😉IMHO

Every time a person takes a chance in Love, this is Good Fortune.

Every time a person takes a chance by making a specific choice, this is Good fortune because you chose. Now what comes afterwards as a consequence can be good or bad. But you took a choice!

Or perhaps you take a chance being a friend to someone, this is also Good fortune. You took a chance to have that relationship. Again what happens past that choice is up to you and the other person. But don't you consider having a friend or more, Great fortune?
