Kat, this is a little off-topic, however, it is about money. Debt is one thing, and being bankrupted due to increasing, exorbitant property taxes are another. People wind up having to move and sometimes never recover financially.
Property taxes is a major abuse to homeowners.
If there is a good example of mafia tactics, this is one of them, imo.
Corrupt local governments. It's truly disgusting how much they've gotten away with.
