Kat, this is a little off-topic, however, it is about money. Debt is one thing, and being bankrupted due to increasing, exorbitant property taxes are another. People wind up having to move and sometimes never recover financially.

I agree but I’d like to know if there is a way to get it off your credit report and not have it affect credit score 😀

This is 100% true. If you make 1 payment to them, it's admitting or signing a new contract. It's all about contracts. I have done this before and had debt written off, never paid it. Credit cards and medical. If anyone needs help writing letter to collection agencies, lmk.
