I normally hate facebook and hadn't been on in a few years, but decided to check in to let people know I was okay after Helene.

Well, I have to tell you, right now it is useful. Literally everyone is helping someone or helping many all over WNC. Individuals, small businesses, franchises, churches, restaurants, you name it. Everyone is stepping up. People as far as Alabama, Colorado, Indiana, wherever - they are all sending truckloads of supplies in. In a region that was very liberal, God has stepped in and reignited real love.

We will get through this - thanks to real, true American human heroes. Not government. Every one of these people are paying taxes to a government that doesn't help us, yet we still find a way to help each other. Just imagine what we can do without government at all. I am 100% convinced that we don't need them at all.
