I asked Donald Trump about what he thought#MAGA meant.
What era were we going to Make America Great AGAIN?
He said, ‘The era of your uncle, John F. Kennedy.’
That was the era when America was at its apex here & abroad.
We were the wealthiest country in the world.
The American Middle Class was the greatest Economic Engine
in the history of mankind.
We had a robust Union movement..
Virtually every American believed
in the accessibility of the American dream
which meant at that time
you could afford to buy a home
take a Summer vacation
raise a family
& put something aside for your retirement
ON A SINGLE JOB.
There’s no American now in my kid’s generation
who believes that contract applies to them..
My uncle was asked by one of his best friends,
‘What do you want on your gravestone?’
He said, ‘He kept the Peace.
The primary job of a POTUS is to keep our country
OUT OF WAR..’
Those are the same ambitions that Donald Trump has 🕊️

In 1963 my parents had purchased a newly built, 3 bedroom, 1 3/4 bath home with an attached garage and fenced backyard for a little over $14,000.
Even then my dad worked long, hard hours to provide for us. A few years later my mom went to work outside our home, too.
Both my extended families were farmers and ranchers who worked 24/7, 365 days a year!
My brothers, sisters and I were monkeys on the swing set in the backyard.
One of my favorite things to do was lay on the grass on the front lawn and watch the stars on a warm summer night.
Have never stopped watching and being drawn to the stars.
I also remember being at school, during a break outside, when the assassination of JFK was announced over the school PA system.
I hope it was a double / clone and that he lived (is alive) to see what his son and others have done to complete what he started!
