I went to a junior college for 2 years, 96 credits in industrial arts, paid the fees, bought the books working mighnights and going through classes from 8-4 . Got all the certificates and owed nothing, worked for 25 years as a mechanic mostly dealership. I was making 4 bucks an hour and I got it done
