As a child I flew a few times from Florida to New York to visit my grandparents as an unaccompanied minor. I remember I was seated towards the front of the plane and the "stewardess" would watch over me. She took me by the hand getting off the plane and in those days my grandparents met me at the gate. She handed me off to them. Nowadays sadly, it would be extremely dangerous. 😒
