Most likely there is some crazy stuff they did way back even in the 1700s with tunnels under hotels.
Exactly. Many locations are probably picked for the ancient tunnels under them. AND all those HIlton ones....etc.
Back in the western days some of the hotels would have tunnels that went underground to the saloon so that the businessmen would not be seen walking across the street to go over there and if they wanted to be with one of the dancers they would take them back underground and back into the hotel. This has been going on for a long time.
