It's tragic that the Sylvia Plath Effect was named after a murder victim. She was murdered by her jealous and narcissist husband. He liked to drive women into madness in order to feel superior and in control. He was sexually abused by his father, who abused all his children. He ran away from home to America. He was a descendant of a paternally incestuous family.

Virginia Woolf, on the other hand, did commit suicide, triggered by her mentally ill husband and impending war. Her childhood sexual abuse haunted her, continuously. It caused her to feel unstable. She was brave enough to expose and write about the incestuous men in her family. Her husband was also a victim of childhood sexual abuse.

The cycles of generational sexual abuse must end. It is the most insidious curse upon humanity that must be broken, NOW!
