Why are we taught to say Amen at the end of prayer? The word has come to be know as representing, “so it is,” however, it has roots in the Egyptian god “Amun” or “Amon Ra,” sometimes spelled “Amen”.
Amon = hidden
Ra = light
Many claim Amen Ra was the Egyptian representation of Satan, the dark ruler. The ‘god’ from another world who travelled in light and darkness.

The Hebrew of the First Covenant [Old Testament] reveals to us that the Scriptural Hebrew
word (which means: so be it, or verily or surely) is "Amein" (Phonetic Spelling is
“aw-mane”) and not "Amen". Anyone can confirm this in Strong’s Concordance, No 543 in
its Hebrew Lexicon, or in Aaron Pick's Dictionary of Old Testament Words for English
Readers.
