WTF can a person drink? Besides just water
I got type 2 diabetes so I switched to diet soda and have been addicted for years. Recently I decided to get off of it and switch to tea that I sweeten with Stevia, but now I'm reading dangerous shit about Stevia effecting liver and kidneys. What can a human drink? I do drink water but it's hard to just drink water with every meal and all day nothing else.

Have you tried Whiskey ?

I had whooping cough as a young teenager, my Dad's remedy 4 coughs where a tod of whiskey, cool boiled water & a spoon of honey mixed 2gether in a small whiskey glass. Whiskey is warming, & relaxes u, the honey is a natural antiseptic, he could have added a squeeze of lemon 2, yummee. Remember folkes if u have sore throat honey is a must, slowly consume a teaspoon of honey as & when you need it, u need 2 slowly consume the honey so that it gives the honey time 2 work it's magic. The other is MARSHMELLOWS, they have gelatine in them, again slowly consume them let them melt in ur mouth & the gel substance run down the back of ur throat, & the knack 2 this is slowly, if ur throat is really bad it make take 2 or 3 at a time. Even take the honey or marshmallows 2 bed with u & whichever u works best on ur throat, it needs 2 be slowly consumed in order for the honey or gelatine to coat the throat 2 work it's magic. R Whites lemonade contains Vit.C from lemons I found this helpful 2

I'd heard that Australian lady Barbara talk about natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, & sugars cane. Unfortunately the drinks nowadays are full of all sorts that are not natural! You can make your own with oranges & lemons & herbs, one drink I show people is used with lemons, water & lemonade (diet if u need to) sweeten with honey 2 your taste. But you simmer slowly, no boiling, the lemons, oranges, limes, even grapefruit in water for a while about an hour, add a quantity of lemonade whilst simmering, add the honey at he end, by stirring it in, do not boil honey you need it's gr8 properties. This drink can be drunk hot, warmed or cold from the fridge. Herbs such as thyme, oregano, basil, are fantastic as teas you can add chopped ginger for heat & boost your metabolism, lemons Vit.C, Honey is the antiseptic healer, the herbs cleanse & rid the body of flem, & inflammation.

A favorite of mine is 12-16oz of chilled alkaline water with 1 tsp of organic baking soda mixed well, then add juice of freshly squeezed lemon.

Or, try this also: big jug of chilled water with slices of cucumbers, diced cilantro, and sliced lime.

Stay as close to your food source as possible, and flavor healthy water with fruits and berries. Ditch processed stuff completely if you can and buy from local merchants.
