Evan Fucci is the chief photographer for the AP in Washington D. C.
He took the photograph of President Trump pumping his fist after surviving an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally.
Evan Vucci, photojournalist, has been with the Associated Press for almost 21 years. He has covered everything from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, to the Trump presidency, to Super Bowls, to the protests following the death of George Floyd, in which his team was awarded the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography.
He also covered and took the photo of shoe-thrower Muntather al-Zaidi when he threw his shoe at George W. Bush.
