A couple tales from the mission field.

God is STILL on his throne doing miracles EVERY day .. most of which we will NEVER hear about until we sit at his feet in Heaven one day to hear of them.

Recently my friend drove a bus load of African youths living in America now (who were mostly Congo refugees to a bordering country at first then brought to this country) from Sunnydale SDA Academy near Columbia Missouri down to inner city Houston for an evangelism outreach program.

At a large apt building one girl was asked to go speak to some women who seemed perhaps to be speaking her language. In the course of that exchange the girl and one of the others joyfully realized they had been next door 'neighbors' and best friends at a refugee camp in Africa 4 years prior!

What a miraculous reunion they had indeed.

A small girl asked if she, her mother and brother could come to the event (would be held in a nearby park) which they could of course if their parents would agree. Turns out the dad said no. The worker suggested they pray and ask God to change the father's heart. She got on her knees w/ the little girl and when they were done she asked her what God had said.
She said "I don't know he didn't say"
At the event the little girl, her brother and mother showed up and the little girl running madly to the worker joyfully shouted "God said YES!!"
