Was the shot to Trump's ear a warning shot to let him know that he is not in control and that he better pick Vance for his vice president, someone that actually hated him and would rather vote for Hillary?

None of this is making sense anymore

If it been Hilly behind it the outcome would've been different.
Regardless whose really behind 'the Stage Show' we know it had a#gaslighting effect - people are more 'confused' than ever and don't know 'the Truth'.
