Brooklyn, NY is unrecognizable and don't bother passing through some parts unless you speak Chinese. EVERY house lost to a hard working American who just could not keep up with the taxes and bills, is bought by an Asian. They "swarm" on any house that goes up for sale. They pay cash, immediately gut, renovate, and move in more and more Chinese people. They turn the houses into ugly fortress-like structures. They pour concrete on the front lawns and turn them into parking spaces.
Who pays for all this? Who is bringing them here and paying for all the properties they buy? Chinese writing is priority: stores, bus stops, etc. They own local businesses, make policy in the schools, drive more than one, new, expensive car...
