"π₯This is the most powerful thing Iβve seen in a long time.
This man waited 18 years to become an American citizen, and he is far more knowledgeable about our current state of affairs than many people I know that have lived here since birth.β

I still believe it is an insult and degrades our long-standing family status and contribution to the nation that a new citizen like this has the same voting power as me. Voting weight should be based on how long oneβs family lines have been in the country.
New citizen = 1 point
3 generations of citizenship = 3 points
Been here since 2021, Dad, 24yr Marine! Grandmother, love President Trump! May God Bless Us All, WWG1WGA! Virginia is home! Love Sewing!
I believe after 18years of work to become a citizen, that this man has earned the right to vote.
President Roosevelt stated, "That you have to learn to speak our language, learn our laws, learn our history to become a citizen". He isn't an illegal that just came across the border!
You must not have read my post. He can vote, but I donβt think his vote should carry the same weight as people whoβs families have been here for 150 years.

Isn't a vote a vote?
Ask the union leaders of the world about seniority. The older, long-standing employees always get better benefits than the new blood. Why? They contributed for longer, even if they are not as effective today as they were 30 years ago. Their contributions from long ago still matter.
Voting seniority weighting system of some sort.
Jimmy thank goodness you are probably in a tiny minority.
