I live in a 4 unit building, a quadruplex or whatever ya want to call it. In the small apartment above mine, 2 migrants (legal) from Africa moved in a year or so ago. They have this thing they do every weekend they are home together, starting 9 am they start playing loud music that I hear right though the floor…. Sometimes all day long til late at night. Everyone has complained and they have turned it down so now I’m the only unit that suffers. Lots of bass… this entire time I thought they were Christians bc my landlord is from Africa and claims he is a good Christian man, and I assumed these were friends of his… but suddenly in the last few months I’ve had to listen to these men have very loud and violent sex with each other. Tuesday it was so loud I thought the ceiling was gonna fall in over my bathroom. I prayed and rebuked it but other than that I’m not sure what to do. Some days there is just no peace.

not a lot of peace lately for lots of people, so it seems like it is a thing right now for people to act out.

a quiet day once in a while is necessary

if we can't leave for various reasons, it gets more stressful.

maybe complain that they are too loud and your landlord needs to do something about it.

they need to move if they can't be respectful of other people trying to get some sleep

you might have to bang on the ceiling with a broom if it gets too loud

I had a neighbor once that would do that to me, but he was single and would bring girls home from a bar. I would have to try to stick my head under a pillow to sleep, but once I told him what happened and repeated word for word what I heard one night, he got embarrassed and it never happened again.

lots of weird stuff happened between them because of constant gaslighting

and I live in central Florida where too many people set off fireworks in their neighborhoods, and it scares the animals, especially the dogs because of their supersonic hearing, on top of babies, tired parents, and ill persons and their caretakers. I can't imagine what the wildlife think, because what do the birds do? what about the other animals?

I do not like the fireworks any more because it is too overboard, and I dread at what my dog goes through with her fear of fireworks. She thinks we are under attack.

Terrible that a wife of 30 years should want enough from the marriage to afford a place to move into.

I'm sure she wasn't rude because she was unhappy in the marriage.
(I know rudeness is no excuse, but none of us knows what goes on behind closed doors. She hardly left because she was deliriously happy in that marriage)

Let's hope the neighbours of her new place (iunder a bridge, or in a shop doorway, or a park bench) are just as lovely as her previous neighbours, and pinch her shoes while she sleeps.
