Here's an article stating new guidelines for Statins wherein 37.666% of those currently prescribed will no longer need them. That's 17 million Americans out of 45 million. Could it be they didn't need them in the first place? I quit taking them last December when I found out they can lead to dementia. My physician didn't say shit when I told him I would no longer take them. His nurse, however said they're really bad! I can attest to the fact they almost killed my mother. They caused her to develop cirrhosis of the liver, which miraculously disappeared when she stopped taking them.

BTW, is it coincidental that "17" million out of "45" million? Hmm..
