Had a trusted ac tech over yesterday. He explained that California only allowing 5 ton system for residential unit, they’re good for 2k sq ft. My house is 2460 sq ft. I will make do with what I have, maybe buy a LG setup for master and close off the vents. Only run it at night and run the house at a higher temperature
Because my system runs warmer upstairs, I got the portable chillers that seem to work. I put the filters in the freezer and only put refrigerated cold water in them.
I’ve got experience in setting up upright ac in small spaces, venting the heat outside. Bought and set up 3 of them and 1 for the office I worked in. My kids have 2 of them, but another 400 bucks if it cuts down electric bill is worth it for me
