Rape primarily is a crime of *rage*, *power*, and *violence*. Sex is just the means of expressing it.
Castration won't cure or stop a person from committing another heinous crime of rage, power seeking and violence.
A death sentence will.
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord" Is1:18;
The ONLY acceptable alternative to a death sentence in such cases is *guaranteed* life in prison w/ no *possible* chance of parole.
However such offenders don't often last too long anyway in general prison population.
