Erica Rowland took this photo in KS last month. This is what she has to say about it:
"Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself and share a photo I took. My name is Erica. These are mammatus clouds that were at the tail end of a storm at sunset on April 30 over our farm in rural Towanda, KS, USA."
Someone said it was fake and this was her reply:
"Erica Rowland
Deborah Moore I know it looks surreal, but it’s 100% authentic. I was squatted down in the puddles as far as I could go without getting my behind in the water, and used my iPhone 11 flipped upside down with the camera lens closer to the water to capture. There was no wind and no ripples in the water. I don’t believe in posting photoshopped pictures and trying to pass them off as real. This has only minimal edits done to it. ☺️"
