If the Benadryl works there is no need to go to the hospital. They will just give you more Benadryl.

I was stung by some yellow jackets probably about 20 and I immediately took Benadryl. My tongue started to go numb. We called 911. They gave me the same advice. It was very scary. I felt sick afterward for about 3 days.
