While I get his point…good luck changing the current holiday structures. I can see adding a new “New Year” celebration on 1 April, and aligning more with the orthodox calendar dates for events, and a new reflection of Jesus’s birthday on 9/11, and even going back to a 13 moonth 🌙 calendar — but don’t see much else changing. People like the holiday structure from Thanksgiving through New Year’s (and frankly, it forces families to get together when they otherwise wouldn’t 😁).
