The book of Revelation uses a chiastic structure. Unless someone is aware of this it is highly likely whatever they deduce from the text is incorrect. Not only Rev, but many other verses, passages, chapters, are written in the same manner.

A chiasmus involves presenting a sequence of ideas and then repeating them in reverse order, creating a "mirror" effect. This reflection is achieved through the repetition of a word, often in a similar form, connecting each idea to its counterpart. The term chiasmus derives from the Greek letter chi, which resembles our letter X.
