Consider also that *SUN*RISE service has traditionally been part of "Easter" observance.

Everyone gathered on the hills and dales all facing east as the SUN rises ... what does that look like?

Sure ... 'sun' .. 'son' ... yea ... 'cute' little semantic trickery .. no biggee right?

SUN(god)-day worship (whether once a year or the weekly 'day of worship' 99% of Christians obstinately observe in direct opposition to God's clear command and desire) where people (actually) worship a thing God created rather than the One who created them in the first place.

A slap to God's face pure and simple who by His own finger 'reminded' us of who HE IS.

"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God:

For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." Ex20:8-

Jesus warned about dates and rather look for signs
Sabbath he broke together with his disiples bcs its old testament and He braught the New but true data
He Showed us but also told us, and continues to do so

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord" Is1:18;

The 7th day Sabbath *day* is not a date. And the *only* day given a 'name' rather than a number by Jesus Himself.

A gentle *reminder* of it's importance, and *reason*, for us to observe then set in stone by JESUS' very own finger. It's original residing in the ark of the testimony in God's sanctuary in HEAVEN to this very day as described by John (Rev11:19)

Jesus never 'broke' the Sabbath (nor changed the *day*) .. he reclaimed it's original purpose (which He as 'Lord of the Sabbath' had every right to do) as being for our 'good' instead of burdened with all the rules and regs the pharisees had smothered it with making it drudgery rather than a DELIGHT.
