Good advice, methinks. About 10 years ago I walked away from a job of 36+ years after being poked in the eye with a stick, one too many times... so as to avoid future bellyaching ad nauseum. I'd recommend such as at least a good option to consider.

I recently had a similar experience. There comes a time where you must move on.
Part of my reason for doing so was bellyaching for years over a similar situation that occurred decades earlier and not wanting to go down that rabbit hole again.
