That's great news. They must press for conspiracy charges as well. Both charges must be levied against the judge as well. That will open up a series of charges for all participants.
Following that, he will have a case for 1984 - deprivation of rights under the color of law, lawsuit. And that will strip them of their qualified immunity, and result in the the biggest punitive damages lawsuit the world has ever seen.
But, then again, we're talking New York. Any hope for of real justice will be iffy at best.
