😔 . But my sleeping has been like this . Our neighbor has dogs that bark all night long I have texted multiple times saying I believe your dog is hungry .. I know I am suppose to love thy neighbor but damn you know they don't miss a meal . WHATS WRONG WITH THEM ? It breaks my ❤️ he is screaming feed me . 😔

I had that problem before. The neighbor was leaving his dog outside all night in freezing cold temperatures. The dog understandably cried all night, wanting to be let into the house where it was warm. I called the local police department and filed a complaint. The neighbor was summoned to court for a hearing with the District Justice. I had a couple of other witnesses who showed up besides me, and we won. The neighbor was found guilty and was ordered to give the dog up to a local shelter for adoption.

I feel this strongly, because even as a young child I'd been the one in the family who was constantly keeping an eye & ear open for animals, speaking on their behalf where ever I'd notice neglect and/or suffering.
My prayer was always and still is that we will soon live in a world where Empathy/Action is normal... unlike today where apathy is too often a killer😢.

You're welcome. Our pets count on us to take care of them, and that man was neglecting his dog. I couldn't take hearing that him cry all night long...it was heart-wrenching.

Indeed, 'Owning' an Animal means owning Responsibility of a pet/companion or any other 'category label being used'. And if full care & attention is not/can not be provided the responsibility should (must in my world) go to someone who does take others lives seriously.
