Is anyone else having cell issues this morning?
It goes to all circuits are busy and then after calling a few times it goes through and hangs up in the middle of the call.

Yes. Just as you described. It's been happening intermittently for two months now. I also receive calls during the day, in which the "caller" says nothing, stays on the line for a very short time (no noise in background), then hangs up. These calls begin at 8am and I have an average of four of them throughout the day. Always from different numbers and when I call the numbers back, recording states that "number cannot be completed as dialed."

That's very strange.

I won't answer my phone unless it's from a person in my "contacts."

If just a phone number pops up with no name while I'm getting a call, I refuse to answer.

Same here. Normally only answer numbers already in my contacts. I have an extremely small circle. 4 Siblings, their wives/husbands, 5 co-workers, My elderly Mother. That's it. When the calls first started, I did answer. The numbers were from all over the US, and when I answered I would get a computerized female voice that simply said, "Hello"... nothing else. Whether I responded or not, then a pause, then it would hang up. In the last month, the numbers are all from my home state, but with no "Hello", just silence. In the last 3 weeks, I just hang up as it's ringing. The calls are fewer during the day as long as I don't move locations. If I do go somewhere, I get a call. I know what I sound like as I type this, but all I can do is report what I experience. It is unsettling, but I put it out of my mind because I think the purpose is to unsettle me. I lead an extremely simple life. Work, home, grocery store. No known enemies, no relationship drama. It's just flat weird.

It sure IS weird, especially how you get a call when you change locations. Something isn't right about that. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I always have my "location" turned off on my phone. Maybe you do too, I don't know. Sounds like somebody's messing with you in some way.

Yes, Location always turned off. I block each unknown number that comes in. They always call from a different number. I just need to get a new number and see what happens. If they are tracking me,....their life has to be more boring than mine. If the "caller" ever decides to do something besides prank calling, things are gonna get a little "chippy" for them. Thank you for your response Mike. God Bless.

I know there are ways that the caller can change the number that pops up on your phone during a call without them actually changing their number. It's probably been the same person calling you the entire time. The getting a new number part is smart.

Good luck, you're welcome and God bless you also.

Yes, I agree that it's probably been the same person all along. A younger, more tech savvy relative had mentioned the "spoofing" of numbers to me just this week. I appreciate you mentioning it in an effort to help. Thank you!
