Think it was the 1970's movie, North Dallas Forty, that was one of the first to highlight corruption in pro football.

I used to love college football, believing it was cleaner.
Think it still is, however, having discovered even more about history,
I now see it, like so many other iconic systems, as an entertainment distraction integrated into American culture, directly from the Romans / Jesuits.
