Yes, we should all ask questions! I do not pretend to know the answer, only I remember he also wished Ghislaine M well and has also wished others well who have not actually had great outcomes. I think it is diplomacy; I suspect the King has many allies and why would he want to alienate them or the British citizens when he does not need to? We have many narratives about what we think the King did or did not do, but the truth is, we do not really know. He also praised the Queen, and I think that was the correct thing to do as well. He will need to work with these leaders in England whether he comes back as President or returns to his business.
