I love my Country and President Trump. He gave us the Courage and the Hope for better things for our children and grandchildren. No DMs

No child should go hungry.

If the truth shall kill them, let them die. Always learning & growing so never the same. Merely a humble student & no master.

The biggest offense I take with the shit school system in the US is the way the children are fed.

They take in enough money in taxes to give them rib-eyes and a quart of whole milk with each lunch, yet feed them garbage and shit!

I dare anyone to find me a federally funded school system that is not being fed through a "privately contracted agency" feeding them as cheaply as can possibly be mustered for maximum profit gain on their contracted services.

Then take a look at the teacher's lunches and salad bars in the very same lunch room...looks like Applebee's in comparison!

My child has not been in the public school system for 3 years now and will never go back until it is out of the feds control again

If you are a teacher, DO NOT come to defense of this statement, it is material fact and quite provable as real and true!

FUCK THEM! They rob our children's lives and experiences at school and teach them obedience not intelligence.

The biggest problem is that the state and federal government is involved. If the school system follows their “approved” food list, then the food department gets money and free state approved foods to serve to the kids. The food department says that they need this because they don’t make enough money from the sales of meals with the number of reduced/free kids meals that are served. So, they feed them state approved prepackaged, over processed, pre cooked foods to meet the state approval requirements. They serve them sugar free, aspartame added syrup to go with prepacked waffles or premade French toast pieces (not even a whole piece of bread) to go with 1 piece of chicken sausage and a premade hard biscuit. (That’s just one example of a meal served in our district, I have many others from working there for years). Then if a kid is still hungry and they have money, they can buy reduced fat chips, fat free rice krispy treats, fat free hersheys ice cream (not done, commenting more⬇️

And they can buy zero sugar gatorades and powerades and those Ice flavored carbonated water things that have aspartame in them, all for the maximum amount they can charge. Last year for example they charged $2.25 for a small gatorade, $1.50 for a rice krispy treat. There is soy in everything fed to them. We had a kid with soy allergies. The only thing they could eat was either the precooked chicken nuggets (5 in a serving) or a salad. The breakfasts are just as bad. Prepackaged cinnamon roles or muffins, or a precooked egg patty with chicken sausage sandwich and American cheese. All they allowed for sandwiches was American cheese. The most processed cheese there is. Bacon is no longer allowed because of the sodium (it was precooked anyway), but processed ham lunch meat is still allowed (🤦🏽‍♀️). I have that app that rates products (yuka or yuba - I can never remember), and the only thing that rated good was prepackaged apple slices. It’s sickening and sad that no one listens ⬇️

When the quality of food being served is brought to attention. They just look and say “Huh, really? Wow” and keep ordering and serving the same things because it’s “approved”

Yes but it indeed is also now dominated just like the military with privately contacted agencies doing the food prep. I wash shocked as a cook in the Army to learn they don't use Army cooks on bases any longer, it is a few solider running an entire contracted staff of civilians and that was in the 80's. Contractors equal literal tax robbery and downgraded shit service every time.

The school food staff is hired and funded by the BOE, they have their Food and “nutrition” department for all of that, but I can believe the Military hires outside for that, it’s ridiculous, but I can believe it.
