To conceal a conspiracy about fuel usage in airlines; the in and out metering and logs of every fuel pump at every refinery, at every distribution depot, on every truck, and on every aircraft would have to be tampered with (in unison) all around the world. There is no way that has happened.
A trucker can feel the weight of the trailer he's pulling by how the machine responds. A pilot can feel an aircraft's performance as well. Weight and balance is a HUGE thing for aircraft performance and safety.

A 60k gal tank is 27.1' in dia. with a sq. footage of: 85.1. At 14.2' tall this gives 1,208 cu ft.
A 747 wing has sq. footage of: 5,960. A ball park guess is that only 70 percent is fuel storage giving: 4,172 sq ft.
A wing would only need to be 3.5' tall.
You make very important points, and conspiracy over this much time is IMPOSSIBLE. I say that to say I have NO IDEA HOW they pulled this ruse off. The Pilots I can understand controlling them, but all the other things involved in air travel that are affected stumps me...

You do realize there are pilots on here. They have spoken about this. How much fuel is being burned on takeoff role vs in cruise at altitude? Why do jets fly up there? How do they manage the fuel? How do you propose that pilots are controlled?
'Controlled' in that they don't fly if they won't tell the lie. And that's the other one, the one where we live on a motionless, flat earth w/a firmament above us.
The amount of fuel burned is related to the density of the air. There is no alternative method of providing thrust to the engines at altitude. ...And to me, the shape of Earth is not a pressing matter. The questions is, why is the most utilized jet such old technology? Why do people continue to accept current conditions of air travel as Trump talks about?

Pressing matters pertain to local public officials refusing to acknowledge the child trafficking crisis, infiltration of state and local governments with unelected committees that spend your money on their agendas and keep you from knowing what is really going on. These people have been convinced the sun will cause cancer, so they willingly slather dangerous chemicals on the skin and will tell you that you must do it too.
