Americans have kept that mutual aid thing going with Ireland for generations. Perhaps the Fenian’s attack on Canada at St.Albans , Vt. was a very bad idea (it was a slaughter), but that mentality is alive today. It is the mentality of the Crusades. The Irish saved the world during the Dark Ages. They kept the light of civilization from going out. They may end up doing it again.
