If you staged a bunch of fake war done as a movie, and then did a "making of…" documentary, it could make it tricky to sell a real war to the public in future. Hypothetically.

Look at how much footage there was of ww2
Enough to support any angle but no behind the scenes

Look at how much footage of war movies and of different explosions. However it's mind boggling to even try to imagine how many people are lying if this is fake.
