I have two $1 bills marked "Series 2021" with Janet Yellen's name. The serials are consecutive.
I had more $1's that felt like the same paper but spent them.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing! That’s the only report of hundreds of bills looked at so far.
Whenever you receive bills, the newer ones will have a texture that makes them difficult to slide against each other.
Since they are $1's it's possible they are counterfeit.
