I can no longer listen to these as this could have been my daughter who survived. But, I will never forget this day, the images are ingrained in my head along with her stories of what happened that day.

No, she is a survivor. I will never forget the smell, the feel & what we saw when we went there 3 weeks later with her. I will never forget the call we got from her that day from NYU university hospital & the fear in her voice, when her voice cracked, when she told me she saw ppl jump. She had to borrow money to call us as she had nothing & left it all there. This is why I can no longer watch these clips or look at images, it just brings back too many sad emotions. I'm sorry for your impact as well. Many were affected by this. I shared stories on my page of her witnessing this so feel free to look.

I am hugging you and so
happy she is a survivor.
Watching these FOIA videos
leave out the smell….
although my imagination
feels it was like
burned death.
Can only wonder how unnerving
attending college in the city
back then.
God Bless you and
your family’s strength.❤️🙏🏽❤️

It was burned death. There was ash everywhere when we went down there with her. She suffered PTSD for a long time but is strong. When Morgan Stanley set up across the river in Jersey City, they had nothing but a phone on their desks & had to stare at the carnage across the river. Her co-worker called me one day to tell me my daughter went to see the nurse at the company. She was having panic attacks. She would have her phone dialed into 911 on the way home to Brooklyn daily in fear of something happening. Going home on the subway form Jersey City, which went underwater, like 4 weeks after, the train stopped underwater due to bomb threats. She witnessed armed military guards on the streets. I couldn't be with her daily to protect her, but I know she was soooooo strong. I don't mean to belittle ppl's loss of life from this, but feel it necessary to get the story out of what she witnessed first hand.

Both of our lungs are good. She doesn't seem to have any issues from that day regarding her lungs. She's very lucky. I remember in 2006 she called me & said there were fighter jets in the sky over Manhattan. I had to reassure her it was the opening day of the Yankee game & they had a fly over. It scared her. When I worked in downtown Denver in 2007-2008, I was sitting in my cubicle & all of a sudden heard loud jets fly over. My co-worker said my face turned white. When my daughter & husband moved to San Fran 2012 I was a bit worried for her bcuz of earthquakes. Well, one day she called me from her home & said they had an eq. She left & went home. Her co-workers laughed at her as they were use to it, but it frightened her. It's much better now but any loud noises like can trigger it for her. She doesn't dwell on this day like she use to. You said earlier you have been impacted by this day, if you want to share you can, but if not I understand.
